About the Instructor:

Patty Edge, “The Sketching Doc,” is an urban sketcher and educator from Tasmania. A retired doctor, she now devotes her time to capturing architecture in pen and watercolour, favouring bold line work and expressive colour. Patty teaches beginners the confidence to loosen up, sketch on location, and enjoy the process rather than chase perfection. She’s taught workshops in Australia and will be sharing her “Line · Wash · Repeat” approach — a practical method to build sketches in layers with confidence,while keeping them lively and full of character.
