About the Instructor:

Darman is an architect who had been designing for more than 2 decades in his home town, Surabaya. He was born in 1970 in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Most of his sketches are closely related to all about the city : old buildings, urban settings, and other daily activities. He loves sketches because they are able to tell more personal stories about the intimate details, proportions, architectural styles, lights, and nuances. He usually works on watercolour paper with the mix of pens, inks, chinese ink, watercolour, and sometimes graphite pencil and pastels.
