About the Instructor:

Harrison How is an artist and educator from Montana, shaped by the rugged landscapes and small towns of the American West. Growing up surrounded by mountains, rivers, and historic cabins gave him a lifelong connection to drawing as a way of seeing and remembering. His work, shared with millions of people around the world, often returns to themes of nature and place. At Sketching Retreat ’25, he’ll guide participants in sketching a 140-year-old Montana cabin — a chance to capture history, place, and the quiet character of something built to last.
